WNYC Street Shots: Joe Wigfall

WNYC in New York City is not only one of the most listened to public radio stations in the country, they are also one of the most creative. They produce amazing national programs like Radiolab, On The Media, Studio 360, The Takeaway and more, but here at Storyboard what we really love about them are their smaller productions.

They have an entire culture section on their website with stories and video that you can spend hours roaming around in, which is exactly what we were doing when we came across today’s What We’re Watching.

Scores of street photographers document city life on any given day in New York City and they do it one shot at a time. In the WNYC Street Shots Challenge we are introduced to six photographers who are practicing and redefining a uniquely New York art form. Joe Wigfall was the winner of the competition but all of the videos in this series are definitely worth a look!
