Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today on the podcast version of the big big show in the wee wee hours, we’ll bring you two fine radio pieces to add to the pod-playing device of your choosing.
First off, it’s the exciting continuation of Destination: DIY. We really like this new one-hour show, so we’re portioning it out in three parts rather than giving you the whole thing all at once. Today, we’ve got part two for you. You know how in trilogies, the second part gets a little darker and makes you rethink some of the messages of the first part, and often leaves you with the feeling that all is lost, with your heroes in their direst straits ever? This is nothing like that. It’s just the second segment of the show, and it’s not really any darker or more disturbing than the first of third segments. We’ll hear from do-it-yourself types, talking about why they do the things they do. There’s an artist who makes her living on the handmade art website etsy, a guy who didn’t know what he was getting into when he started building his own bed, and a lady who’s knitting a farm. Yep, that’s not a typo. She’s knitting a farm. Now you know you have to listen.
Also, it’s summertime, just in case you weren’t tipped off by the 102 degree days that have become the norm around here. So it’s a perfect time to bring you Summer Fun, from the fine folks at B-Side Radio. It’s the perfect thing to listen to during a nice air conditioned summer drive.
