Nano Whitman felt the pull of music from a young age. At 11 he entered the Philadelphia Boys Choir and began performing at landmark venues across the world. He continued his music education at Harvard and Berklee where he he penned a rock opera for his undergraduate thesis. 2004 saw Nano move to Austin to pursue his solo career. Since then Nano has performed with many of Austin’s rising young stars like Kat Edmonson and Joshua Zarbo. In 2010 Billboard awarded Nano’s song first prize in the World Song Contest for Folk/Americana. Nano has a new band and has just released his new album I Leave On the Light.
