What happens when an influential Americana performer noted for his solo work joins a collective of equally talented musicians and decides to put out a rock n’ roll album? The result might sound something like My Jerusalem. Lead singer Jeff Klein spent most of his career as a solo artist with albums featuring his famous friends like Ani DiFranco and Patty Griffin. Klein even lived in Austin briefly in 1999 when he was working on his first album You’ll Never Get to Heaven If You Break My Heart. Now he has joined forces with an equally impressive ensemble consisting of members from St. Vincent, Great Northern, & Bishop Allen to name just a few. Together the group creates some seriously expansive music that falls somewhere between Americana and indie-rock. The group swings through Austin to promote their new album Gone For Good an will perform for us live in Studio 1a. Tune in HERE!
