Gas Prices on the Rise
AAA Texas reports the price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Austin jumped eight cents over the last week to $3.50. Statewide gas prices are averaging about $3.52.
Lake Travis ISD to Name Interim Superintendent
Monday the Lake Travis Independent School District‘s Board is expected to name an interim superintendent. Superintendent Donald Rockwell “Rocky” Kirk unexpectedly resigned last week citing personal reasons. Kirk has served as the district’s superintendent since July 2002.
Substantial Rain Could be Months Away
Some lucky Central Texans got a little bit of rain Sunday but it wasn’t enough to improve the severe drought conditions. KUT’s Erika Aguilar takes a look at our possibilities for more rain on today’s newspod.
