Sure, lots of people are jazzed about the final Harry Potter movie being released today. But we know the exciting final chapter you’ve all been waiting for is really part three of Destination: DIY! Wait no longer, O’Darkers. We’ll bring you the gripping conclusion to this charming show today. This final segment of the “I Made That!” episode is all about food, and we’ll hear a couple of food-related stories on this show. One is about a man’s mission to build the perfect kitchen timer, which is actually pretty fascinating. And the other asks “is the butcher the new rock star?” Tune in and find out! Also, if a description of people butchering animals for food is the sort of thing that you don’t want to listen to, you really should skip over this section of the show, because you will likely not enjoy what you hear.
Speaking of things you might not want to listen to, the second part of our podcast today features a story by Moira Quirk about her adventures with a breast-feeding support group. It’s a great story, but since the subject matter is what it is, Moira uses several colorful metaphors to describe her mammary glands. If those are the sort of words you don’t want to hear, or don’t want other people in the room to hear, think twice before listening to this piece. If, however, you are delighted by hearing slightly dirty words spoken in a classy British accent, this is exactly the show for you.
