Meera Chandrasekaran’s childhood training in Indian classical music is certainly serving her well as the singer of Austin’s own Bamako Airlines. Rounding out the in-flight crew is Greg Goodman on bass, Michael Goldsmith on guitar, saxophonist Ryan McCormack, and percussionists David Justh and Jakes Srinivasan. The eclectic group of musicians allows Bamako Airlines to travel the wide world of music and deliver grooves from across the globe. Bamako Airlines touches down in KUT’s Studio 1a July 20th.
