The scientists tell us it’s still spring, and the calendar on our wall backs them up, but it sure feels like summer to us. It’s 100 degrees outside, all our friends are going on vacation, and everyone we meet smells like sunscreen and margaritas. What does this have to do with today’s podcast? Nothing, really. Just making conversation.
Today’s podcast has little or nothing to do with summertime, but you really should download it before heading off to the beach anyway, because you wouldn’t be on this page if you didn’t like this kind of stuff. On this steamy June day, we’re bringing you a couple of pieces from some old friends. Up first it’s a new edition of The Mikie Show, in which erstwhile Mikie Michael Carroll talks with stage actor Bob Bowles. It should prove to be an interesting conversation, since the topic tags for this one include the terms “charades,” “portals,” and “Dick Clark.”
After that, we’ll bring you Discovering George, from producer Eric Winnick. What George will you be discovering? Listen in and find out!
