Grammy-nominated bluegrass outfit The Greencards are back with their fifth studio album, The Brick Album. Two new members were added to the group, lead by Carol Young and Kym Warner, to complete their ever-evolving sound. Tyler Andal, a young fiddle ace and award winning guitarist Carl Miner boost the live-sound the band was looking for when recording this record. They managed to capture the excitement of a live show that blends with their eclectic bluegrass style. Guest artist Sam Bush makes an appearance on the first track “Make It Out West”, as does Vince Gill on a track called “Heart Fixer.” Get a preview of the new album here, then go see them while they’re here in Austin. The Greencards will be at Waterloo Records for an in-store performance on June 22nd at 5pm.
