This is the Texas Top 5 – where we bring you the week’s top five albums from Texas artists. Our friends at Waterloo Records compile a list of their top selling albums each week and we put our spin on it.

5. White Denim, D

White Denim returns to the Texas Top 5 this week with their latest release, D. Watch their music video for “Drugs”.


4. Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Scandalous

At number four it’s Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears with their highly anticipated sophomore release, Scandalous. They played the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night. In case you missed it, check it out here. You can also watch the new video for “Livin’ In The Jungle” RIGHT HERE.

3. Sarah Jarosz, Follow Me Down

Knocked back from her number one streak is Sarah Jarosz, with her latest album, Follow Me Down. She’s playing festivals around the states and then she’ll head to Europe in July. Luckily you can watch her entire performance on Austin City Limits.

2. Bob Schneider, A Perfect Day

Bob Schneider is holding strong at number two, with his latest album A Perfect Day. He’ll be playing around Austin in the coming weeks, check out his calendar for dates.

1. Joe Ely, Satisfied At Last

This week in the number one spot, it’s Texas icon – Joe Ely. His latest album Satisfied At Last is his first studio release in over four years.
