Stillwater, Oklahoma’s Other Lives started out in 2004 as an instrumental project named Kunek. In 2008 the band added vocals and recorded their first eponymous album as Other Lives. Their sound remained much the same but with the added layer of light, feathery vocals that float along with the expansive music. If you are a TV junkie you may have already heard the Other Lives music in some of your favorite shows. Their song “Black Tables” has been featured on Ugly Betty, Covert Affairs, Grey’s Anatomy, and One Tree Hill. Other Lives released their new album Tamer Animals this spring and have been touring extensively with the new material. The band will perform at The Parish Friday June 24th and you can catch their live performance in Studio 1a RIGHT HERE!
