June 3, 2011 – This Week in Membership
I’m sure I saddened quite a bit of you by not having a “This Week in Membership” post last week. I’m sorry. I got the Cub Scout Tour Post complete though. I considered it my contribution to our online offerings.
This week in Membership, we’ve been working on a variety of things. Kim has worked on the Volunteer E-newsletter as well as sending thank you letters and entering in car donations into our database. Kayla has focused on entering payroll deduction gifts and matching gifts into our database. Are you wondering about our mythical, magical database that I speak of? It is called Allegiance Software. It used by radio stations across the country. It is called Allegiance because it was created for public radio and TV stations; it is named after The Pledge of Allegiance.
I work at a news organization and took quite a few journalism classes in college, but today, I let my loyal readers down. I did not lead the news. The news of the day is that KUT Eco Mugs have arrived at the station! They are being processed by our mailing house and will ship sometime next week! The mugs were out of stock when we placed our order so we are just now receiving them. More than 1,280 of you will be seeing a mug appear in your mailbox soon. I hope you enjoy them!
