The forecast calls for triple-digit temperatures to continue until, oh, let’s say October 14. Some folks call that sort of weather “oppressively hot, if not soul-crushing.” We’re glass-half-full types around here, though, so we just think of it as perfect weather for sitting in the air conditioning and listening to podcasts.

On today’s supercool ‘cast, we’ve assembled some of your (or at least our) O’Dark favorites. We’ll start things off with part one of Snap Judgment’s Busted episode, featuring some gripping tales from folks who got caught in the act. We’ve got a few episodes of Snap Judgment in the O’Dark reservoirs, and we’ll be bringing them to you on a fairly regular basis this summer, so prepare yourself for that in any way you deem appropriate.

Then we’ll bring you a little somethin’ somethin’ from our old buddy the Humble Farmer, whose piece this week is called Sarah Palin’s Safety Concerns. Does that pique your interest? Then listen on!

We’ll bring all home today with veteran producer Jake Warga’s Military Cameramen and Women, in which Jake talks with the military men and women who document not only combat missions, but also the daily lives of their fellow soldiers. Enjoy!
