The story of Foster & Lloyd is a familiar one. Two promising young songwriters in Nashville meet at a publishing company and join forces to produce some incredibly memorable music. In 1985 the genre Americana hadn’t been created yet and college radio wouldn’t touch country with a ten foot pole but Radney Foster and Bill Lloyd somehow managed to find their way onto mainstream country and college radio. Their song “I’m Crazy Over You” made them the first country duo to hit #1 on the charts with a debut single. Their quick rise was short lived however and the two split ways in 1990 to pursue other projects. Now 20 years later the pair are back together and have already released a new album titled It’s Already Tomorrow. Listen to the group that helped start the American movement in KUT’s Studio 1a RIGHT HERE!
