The four-women who make up Blame Sally came together in 2000 on a whim. It was that one-off gig that began a journey that has now lasted 11 years. Even though they got together later in life than most new bands, they had but one goal: to have fun. Of course, with their low expectations for success Blame Sally became the most successful project that any of the members have had. Each member is a songwriter and producer in her own right, which is why they decided to self-produce their latest release Speeding Ticket and a Valentine. Valentine captures the bands’ live dynamic and switches things up with everyone singing lead on their own songs. Blame Sally will play Threadgill’s on Saturday June 18th.
