Brooklyn based group Phosphorescent is back in Austin to play The Parish tonight. Singer-songwriter Matthew Houk teamed up with his band mates for the recording of their newest release,  Here’s To Taking It Easy. The band’s previous releases, including a tribute to Willie Nelson entitled To, Willie, paved the way for what seems to be the album Phosphorescent was always meant to make. Check out the video for the fun, horn heavy single ‘It’s Hard To Be Humble (When You’re From Alabama)’. Houk also recently teamed up with TOMS shoes and La Blogotheque for a Takeaway show.
