Austin Under Watering Restrictions
It may have rained in Austin last week but don’t forget stage 1 water restrictions are in effect. That means homeowners can only water their lawns twice a week. Those with odd addresses can water on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays, people with even addresses are allowed to water on Thursdays and/or Sundays. Sprinklers can’t be used between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Those caught breaking the rules could face a fine of up to $500.
