Texas-native Jonny Burke is a driven musician. His new album, Distance and Fortune, is chock full of original songs inspired by his time on the road. Burke started playing in bars around his hometown of New Braunfels at the age of 15. His first band, The Dedringers, was named the “Best New Group of 2008″ in the Austin-American Statesman. After the band split up, Burke hit the ground running releasing his first solo EP, The Long Haul, in 2009. He has since been touring the country with the likes of Ryan Bingham and James McMurtry.
