Austin swing/hot jazz trio Hot Club of Cowtown takes both their name and their Texas roots seriously, infusing a bit of Texas country into all of their original songs and covers. The trio has been around since 1998, recording and touring around the world under the influence of the music of Django Reinhardt and Bob Wills. In fact, their most recent album, What Makes Bob Holler, is a tribute to the music of Bob Wills. You can hear Hot Club of Cowtown’s performance live on KUT with host John Aielli in Studio 1a.
