Improvised theater is nothing new to Austin, and themed improv shows have been popular here for quite a while — we’ve seen improvised Star Trek, improvised David Mamet, even improvised Philip K.Dick. All that makes it almost surprising that there wasn’t an improvised Batman show before now. Thanks to her years of improv experience and lifelong love of the 1960s Batman series (and of Robin in particular), Kaci Beeler has rectified that situation by creating Holy 1960′s Batman, Batman! Every Saturday night in May and June, Beeler becomes the Boy Wonder, Deano Jones fills Batman’s tights at her side, and together they take on a special guest villain at the Hideout Theatre.

Holy 1960′s Batman, Batman!
