With a career and discography that spans an astounding 40 years, Austin singer-songwriter Eliza Gilkyson is a folk force to be reckoned with. What’s truly amazing about the length of her career is the fact that she has somehow managed to improve between each album release. Her folk music is particularly memorable for it’s impressive and relevant storytelling. Eliza Gilkyson’s new album, Roses at the End of Time, will be released tomorrow, and she’ll play 2 CD release shows on Friday and Saturday May 6th & 7th at the Cactus Cafe. Listen to Eliza Gilkyson’s performance for Eklektikos host John Aielli in Studio 1a.
