The Wooden Birds is the brainchild of Andrew Kenny, who was also behind mellow indie pop favorites the American Analog Set. This Austin quartet specializes in sparse, quiet indie-folk with the occasional duet harmonies. Their debut album was released in 2009 to great critical and fan reception, and since then they’ve been touring both the US and Europe. They joined KUT at the Hilton for a brief live set during SXSW.
