March 31, 2011 – This Week in Membership
Guess what?! The CDs are going to be arriving next week! It takes a bit to get them turned around so we probably won’t start mailing them until the week of April 11 but it is still exciting. T-shirts were dropped off at the mailing house on Thursday. They will be putting them together and then shipping them out. It always takes a while to process those shirts. I hope that they will be in the mail before the 11th, but I’m not sure.
We’ve done some sustaining member clean up and we’ve tried to get rid of multiple open pledges. We’ll be working on cleaning up the database from the membership drive for the next little while.
If you work for a matching company, make sure you go by your HR Department to get the matching gift form. Fill it out and send it to us, and KUT will receive a matching gift from your company.
The office has been fun this morning with co-workers remembering past April Fool’s Day exploits. There haven’t been too many played this morning but it is still early yet. I did put a straw into the coffee thinking that someone would imagine it was a worm or something. Keep in mind this is a plastic, red and white straw. Samantha, who is on our program support team, just said, “Hm, someone dropped a straw in here and then fished it out.” I failed!
