When Seattle indie rock band Pedro the Lion went their separate ways in 2005, frontman David Bazan began to work on writing and performing songs solo. Bazan is now known for his sharp lyrics and warm, drifting Seattle style indie Americana. He has released two full solo albums, both of which have been well received by both critics and fans. Bazan is currently on a “Living Room Tour,” which is exactly what it sounds like – touring the country playing shows in people’s living rooms. David Bazan’s sold out living room show in Austin is on Sunday the 17th, get a preview of David’s new music in his Studio 1a performance with host Jay Trachtenberg.
