Dana Falconberry April Residency at Flipnotics Wednesday Nights

Dana Falconberry has one of the loveliest voices around. On her second full-length release, Halletts (2010), her delicate inflections and harmonies paint such poignant tones throughout. In slight contrast to her 2008 debut, Oh Skies of Grey, Falconberry took a more acoustic approach and applied more subtle touches. It’s absolutely timeless and gorgeous.
The Austin-based songwriter just started a weekly residency at Flipnotics that will last throughout April, and she’ll perform there each Wednesday night. This week, Falconberry shares the bill with Shawn Jones and Lauryn Gould from Austin indie band The Lovely Sparrows. Jones and Gould plan to share some new Sparrows songs, and word is that they’ll do some rather interesting cover tunes. Could be anything. Check it out!
