Artistic director Slobadan Vugisic has 1) a name that seems both awesome and difficult to pronounce and 2) assembled some of the top early music specialists from around Austin and the country to create the Austin Troubadours. The Austin Troubadours feature both well-known and obscure historical instrumentation in tandem with lush vocals to create a wide range of musical styles and sounds. The Austin Troubadours pride themselves on both their historical and musical mastery of the pieces they play, bringing to life the masterpieces of the past. The Austin Troubadours will play their Medieval Dream concert on April 23rd at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin. Listen to their live performance in Studio 1a with host John Aielli.
