This week in the Membership Department – March 17, 2011

It’s been a busy time at the station recently. KUT raised slightly more than $1 million during our Spring 2011 Membership Drive. It is always so humbling and inspiring to realize how important the station is to so many people.
We are also in the midst of South by Southwest. During the music festival, KUT’s Development team provides a support role to the programming departments. Right now Kim and Kayla are at the Hilton manning the KUT Membership table while I am busy at KUT Headquarters.
On Friday, we placed most of the orders for the thank you gifts requested during the Spring 2011 Membership Drive. Our goal is to become faster and faster at getting those items ordered and in your hands! I’ll update this site as the orders are fulfilled.
Quite a few of you have signed up to be sustaining members. Hooray! You are entered into all Membership Drive drawings. We gave ourselves until March 23 to conduct most of those drawings. We need a few days after the drive to catch our breath. We will notify winners of those drawings by the 23rd.
I update this site about once a week. I try to do it on Fridays but sometimes I publish the post on different days (like today!). I’ll keep it updated with information about thank you gifts, station events and drawing notifications.
