Today is the memorial service for Bob Schenkkan, the founder of KUT -who passed away on February 9 at the age of 93. Bob Schenkkan believed in the power of broadcasting and the human voice, in all its forms.

That a few, distinct voices, committed to speaking the truth, in an articulate and civil manner, could make the world a better place. Please join us in a moment of silence at 2pm today to honor Bob Schenkkan, and to experience, for just a moment, what would be, if not for him.

We pledge to work hard every day at KUT, to ensure that what Bob Schenkkan built and inspired, continues to be an agent for good in our community and state.
