Portrait of an Artist: Berndt Mader

Texas native and filmmaker Berndt Mader received his MFA in film from UT Austin in 2007 and has been busy ever since. His first feature film, Five Time Champion, premiered at SXSW 2011 to an eager and excited audience, and will make its way around the festival circuit this year. Mader took some time to talk with us about growing up the son of world-renowned photographer Bob Mader, and also about his life, inspiration and work as a writer, director and artist.
