LA indie rock quintet Local Natives does some incredible harmonizing on their 2010 release Gorilla Manor, accompanied by guitar duets, lovely piano and a host of many other free-flowing instruments that complete the picture. Their album really is a gorgeous piece of work with a multitude of choruses.

Local Natives plays in Austin Friday night, along with Minneapolis indie band Gayngs, at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater, 801 Red River. Gates open at 7 p.m.. Fantastico.
