Blues musician James Cotton has earned a laundry list of awards that is, without exaggeration, too long to name here. The harmonica virtuoso has been playing music professionally for the past 67 (!) years, in various bands including his own James Cotton Blues Band. The James Cotton Blues Band was a pioneer of the now established rock/funk sound of the Chicago blues style and continues to be a force in the genre today. On Friday, Cotton will play Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater.
