Singer-songwriter Darden Smith has been playing music for 25 years, steadily releasing well-reviewed albums and playing shows across the country. His chameleon like songwriting instincts have led him to release country albums, pop albums and even jazz influenced records. And yet his fan base stays hooked on the strength of his writing, which has remained constant throughout his lengthy career. He’s playing live Saturday night at the Cactus Cafe at 9:00, and you can hear him play from Studio 1A on Saturday at noon.
