The Civil Wars is a singer-songwriter duo hailing from the Southeast. The band, comprised of John Paul White and Joy Williams, has a short, yet eventful history. Having met only a year and a half ago, the duo’s creative synergy quickly became contagious, landing them plenty of publicity and their first full-length album, Barton Hollow, a #1 spot on iTunes Albums Chart. Today’s Song of the Day is the title track from that album.
