Bosque Brown’s brand of dark country-folk has been wowing audiences for a few years both here in the States and Europe. The Denton band is led by the ghostly singing voice of Mara Lee Miller. Last spring, she found herself stuck in Paris after a tour due to the Icelandic volcano, so she recorded a cover of Steve Earle’s “Ft. Worth Blues” at a small Parisian bar. You can see Bosque Brown tonight at the Scoot Inn, and in the meantime, take a listen to the group below.

Today’s song of the day is “Ft. Worth Blues,” by Bosque Brown.
