Here at O’Dark Central, we recently realized that it’s almost Christmas and that we have a lot of Nutcracker-themed pieces lying around. With those two facts in mind, we’ve lovingly handcrafted this special nutcrackery pod cast for you, featuring these three exciting pieces:

A behind-the-scenes look at a production of The Nutcracker by the Baltimore School for the Arts, from producer Louisa Jonas

Producer Emily Corwin’s “Not Quite Nutcracker (and way better than christmas carols),” which explores a burlesque take on the holiday classic called “Slutcracker”

And, from O’Dark’s own executive producer Mike Lee, the first installment of “Local Celebrities’ Brushes With the Law,” in which Jason Neulander recounts the story of how appearing in the Nutcracker landed him in jail.

Salty language advisory: There is some salty language in “Not Quite Nutcracker.” If you’re not a fan of such things, you might want to skip this podcast. If you are a fan of such things, enjoy!
