Changing Austin: Read up on new Austin library

November 16, 2010 5:23 pm by: KUT Staff

The City of Austin’s Central Library is about to hit the design phase. Voters approved a $90 million bond for a centrally located library back in 2006.

Now architects are taking input for the library, which is currently expected to be located in the Seaholm Power Plant redevelopment.

A public meeting on the library will be on November 22 at the Austin History Center.
