Miami-based actor, director and playwright Teo Castellanos created “Scratch & Burn” several years ago, when the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq inspired him to change the focus of a hip-hop dance piece he was creating at the time. His views on the war led him to create a “peace ritual,” which he has since performed across America, as well as in South America and China. Now, he’s bringing the show to Austin, where it will close its long run with three performances at the Long Center.

“Scratch & Burn”

Where: The Rollins Theater at the Long Center

When: November 19 – 21, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
