Democratic challenger for Governor Bill White, and for that matter just about all the Democratic candidates in Texas, have been doing the “Obama” dance trying to figure out how closely they should associate themselves with, or how far they should distance themselves from President Obama, who remains pretty unpopular in Texas.
Republican Governor Rick Perry may have his sights set past 2010 to 2012 and the next Presidential election. But Republican candidates everywhere are figuring out how to deal with the Tea Party… embrace them? Ignore them?
