Austin Looks to Build Permanent Supportive Housing Units

The units will be built for people struggling with homelessness who make around $15,000 a year, using some funds from previous bond packages and others from City Departments.

The City of Austin will hold two public forums to seek input on the project at the Street-Jones Building, 1000 E. 11th St. Room 400A.

The first meeting will be held:

Tuesday, August 17th, 10:00 a.m. to noon.

The second meeting will take place:

Monday, August 23rd, 2010 5:30 PM -7:30 PM
