The Texas Supreme Court has to determine whether the Green Party can appear on this fall's ballot. But questions linger about where the money to raise the necessary petition signatures came from.

There are allegations that the greenbacks to pay for the Greens’ petition signatures were tinted Republican red. True or not, the Supreme Court’s decision about Green Party participation this year could start a process that would potentially crowd ballots in years to come.
