Arts Eclectic: Shrewd Summer Nights

The folks at Shrewd Productions are just about to kick off Shrewd Summer Nights, a series of staged readings of new plays. Each night will also feature live music and free food that has some connection to the play.

Things will start on Sunday, July 11 with a reading of Monika Bustamante’s new play The Only Children at the Carousel Lounge.

Next up is Low-Hanging Stars by Sarah Saltwick, Friday, July 16 at Eponymous Garden Guesthouse.

Last but not least is Jenny Connell’s play There Be Dragons, to be read on Friday, July 23, at the Blue Theatre.
