Singer/songwriter Darden Smith has been working on the dramatic song cycle Marathon on and off for the past decade. In its latest incarnation, Marathon features Darden and his band along with actor and writer Richard Isackes, with original songs and monologues working together to tell a story.
The show is a constantly evolving work-in-progress; Smith and Isackes will continue to make changes as the summer goes on, so chances are all three upcoming shows at the Continental Club will be unique.
Darden Smith’s new album Marathon, featuring songs from the show, will be released this fall.
