Applications open until July 31 for Austin’s CityWorks Academy.

Austin bills the academy as a chance to see how the city does it job. Learn how much a fire hose weighs or prepare for a mock news conference. As City Engagement Coordinator Larry Schooler tells Ben Philpott, the class is designed to get people involved in the community. Applications are being accepted until July 31.
