Texas native Tomas Q. Moran has been writing poetry for years, and is a senior lecturer at Texas State University. His poem The Family Artist was just selected as the poem of the week at Narrative Magazine.The complete text of The Family Artist is available here (free registration is required).
Tomas was also featured on the blockbuster late night program “O’ Dark 30” recently, and was the subject of that show’s semi-regular series “Portrait of the Artist,” which can be heard here
