City Wants Input on Animal Adoption Rules

Austin may outsource the shelter’s adoption program. The city is asking the public for thoughts on an adoption plan, vaccination of all shelter animals, a pet trader ordinance, and including rescue in its comprehensive adoption plan. Austin Community Engagement Consultant, Larry Schooler, told KUT’s Emily Donahue a public forum date is April 27th.
