The Vortex takes a fresh look at an ages-old faery tale.

Sleeping Beauty: A Magical Musical Faery Tale is a labor of love for Vortex artistic director Bonnie Collum. She created the musical five years ago with co-writer Content Love Knowles, and the two have recently updated and added to their original work to create something new and different.
Armed with their first-ever NEA grant, the folks at Vortex Repertory are pulling out all the stops for this show—it’ll feature a more intricate, moving stage, along with a larger cast, and more elaborate costumes than is often the case at the Vortex.

Sleeping Beauty: A Magical Musical Faery Tale
