Anna Egge & What Made Milwaukee Famous

Lucinda Williams once called her “a folk Nina Simone,” but Ana Egge is more country than that. Raised by hippies who grew wheat in North Dakota, the Brooklyn singer-songwriter crafts homespun hymns on her latest album, Road To My Love. Joined by members of Austin’s own What Made Milwaukee Famous, Egge prepares for her show at the Mohawk on March 10th by stopping by for a session with Jay Trachtenberg in Studio 1A on Tuesday at 2 PM.
