As you may know, 39 year-old Austin musician and songwriter Will Sexton recently had a stroke. He is expected to have a full recovery. But during the time of his medical treatment and recovery, he will be losing his primary source of income: Live performance. Those of you who know Will know that on a regular weeknight, Will is running from one gig to another and then maybe even another! But for the time being, he’s under doctors orders to take it a little slower. As a result, there will be an all star benefit concert featuring Roky Erickson, Abra Moore, Terry Allen, Eliza & Tony Gilkyson, Patty Griffin, Victoria Williams, Jimmy Lafave and many more at Antone’s on Monday February 15. Will and his brother Charlie will stop by Studio 1A on Tuesday at 1 PM to tell us more.
