Texan and banjo/string player extraordinaire Danny Barnes blurs the lines between country, bluegrass and punk. Barnes formed the Bad Livers in the early ‘90s and changed the face of alt-country on a local and national level. Recent associations with avant-garde jazz composers Wayne Horvitz and Bill Frisell further increased Barnes’ stature as a musician beyond description.
