Brendan Benson live – February 24, 2010
From a childhood spent on the outskirts of New Orleans, to his years in Detroit, Michigan, sojourns in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and a more recent relocation to Nashville, Tennessee, movement has brought an itinerant quality to Benson’s songwriting, a geographical and emotional search for somewhere to belong. His most high profile work has come recently, as a member of The Raconteurs. However, Brendan has continued to write and perform solid, polished rock ‘n’ roll under his own name and his latest album My Old, Familiar Friend has been a favorite here at KUT.
